Sumartin

Sumartin is a small town on Brac Island in Central Dalmatia with population of about 500 persons. The town was named after Saint Martin. Saint Martin Church was one of the first buildings erected on the island.
Sumartin stays from Bol on the distance of 25 kilometers, from Supetar — 35 kilometers and from Bol airport — 20 kilometers.
Local people are engaged in fishing and shipbuilding mostly. The ferry line connecting Sumartin and Makarska make the town an important transportation hub of the island.
Sumartin has several beaches of different kinds. Tourists in Sumartin have restaurants, grocere stores and gift shops. Vacation in the town is calm and quiet letting you feel slow Mediterranian atmosphere.
